1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TailorMyResume (the “Service”), operated by Artem Rusetskyi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and accessible at https://tailormyresume-tech-297392.hostingersite.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Artem Rusetskyi. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
2. Description of Service
TailorMyResume is an AI-powered resume tailoring service that:
- Analyzes your resume PDF
- Processes job posting information from provided URLs
- Generates tailored resume versions optimized for specific job applications
- Provides resume-job matching scores
- Allows you to download tailored resume PDFs
The Service uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI’s GPT models) to process and tailor your resume content.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. If you are under 16, you may not use the Service.
3.2 Account Requirements
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one account
3.3 Geographic Availability
The Service is available to users in the United States, Canada, European Union, and Ukraine. We reserve the right to restrict access to the Service in any jurisdiction at any time.
4. User Accounts and Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- A username
- A secure password
- Any other required information
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any security breach
- Using a strong, unique password
4.3 Account Termination by User
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at artem.rusetskyi@gmail.com. Upon account deletion:
- Your account will be permanently deleted
- All associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- You will lose access to any remaining credits
- Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy (Section 6)
5. Service Usage and Credits
5.1 Credit System
- The Service operates on a credit-based system
- Each resume tailoring request requires one (1) credit
- Credits are purchased through Stripe payment processing
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
- Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated
5.2 Service Limitations
- Each request processes one resume and one job posting
- Maximum file size: 10MB per resume PDF
- Processing time: Typically 15-30 seconds, but may vary
- We reserve the right to limit the number of requests per user per day
5.3 Service Availability
- We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
- We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service unavailability
6. Payments and Refunds
6.1 Payment Processing
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- All prices are displayed in the currency specified on the Service
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase
6.2 Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility:
- Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase if the Service fails to function as described
- Refunds are not available for:
- Successfully processed requests (even if you are not satisfied with the result)
- Used credits
- Accounts terminated for violation of these Terms
- Requests that fail due to user error (e.g., invalid PDF, incorrect job URL)
Refund Process:

- Include your account email and purchase details
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
6.3 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a payment:
- Your account may be suspended or terminated
- You may be banned from future use of the Service
- We reserve the right to pursue collection of disputed amounts
7. Acceptable Use
7.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to:
- Upload only your own resume or resumes you have permission to process
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Use the Service for legitimate job application purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
7.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Upload malicious content: Viruses, malware, or any harmful code
- Violate intellectual property: Upload resumes or content you do not own or have permission to use
- Impersonate others: Use someone else’s identity or information
- Spam or abuse: Send excessive requests, automated requests, or use the Service for spam
- Reverse engineer: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Service’s source code
- Interfere with Service: Disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Service’s operation
- Scrape or harvest: Use automated tools to extract data from the Service
- Violate laws: Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Circumvent security: Attempt to bypass security measures or access unauthorized areas
- Resell or redistribute: Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
7.3 Content Restrictions
You may not upload resumes or job postings that contain:
- Illegal content
- Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content
- Content that violates third-party rights
- False or misleading information intended to deceive
7.4 Job URL Usage Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Third-Party Website Terms of Service
When you provide a job posting URL (e.g., from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, or other job sites), you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any job posting URLs you provide. By providing a job URL, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to access and use that URL for the purpose of tailoring your resume.
- Third-Party Terms: Job posting websites (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.) have their own Terms of Service that may prohibit automated access or scraping. You are responsible for complying with all applicable third-party Terms of Service.
- No Storage or Redistribution: We do not store, redistribute, or republish job posting content. Job URLs are used solely for the purpose of tailoring your resume for that specific job application.
- Limited Use: Job posting content is processed only to generate a tailored resume and is not retained after processing is complete.
- No Liability: We are not responsible for any violations of third-party Terms of Service that may occur when you provide a job URL. We assume that by providing a URL, you have the legal right to use it.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Artem Rusetskyi from and against any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of job posting URLs, including but not limited to:
- Violations of third-party Terms of Service
- Copyright infringement claims
- Unauthorized access claims
- Any other claims related to the job URLs you provide
- Alternative Method: If you are concerned about Terms of Service compliance, you may instead paste the job description text directly into our service rather than providing a URL.
By using the Service with a job posting URL, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Your Content
- You retain all ownership rights to your original resume
- You grant us a limited license to process your resume solely for providing the Service
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process your resume
8.2 Tailored Resumes
- Tailored resumes generated by the Service are based on your original content
- You own the tailored resume output
- You may use tailored resumes for any lawful purpose, including job applications
8.3 Service Intellectual Property
- The Service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by Artem Rusetskyi
- All trademarks, logos, and service marks are the property of their respective owners
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service
8.4 AI-Generated Content
- The Service uses AI (OpenAI) to generate tailored content
- AI-generated content is based on your input and may not be unique
- We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content, but you may not claim it as your original work in contexts that require original authorship
9. Disclaimers and Limitations
9.1 Service “As Is”
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF RESULTS
9.2 AI Limitations
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
- Results are based on algorithms and may not reflect human judgment
- We do not guarantee that tailored resumes will result in job offers or interviews
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content
9.3 No Guarantees
We do not guarantee:
- That the Service will meet your requirements
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- That results will be accurate or reliable
- That any errors will be corrected
- That job applications using tailored resumes will be successful
9.4 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ARTEM RUSETSKYI BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF THIRD PARTIES
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF YOUR ACCOUNT
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9.5 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Artem Rusetskyi from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws
- Content you upload or submit

- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Service
13.2 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
- We may delete your account and associated data
- You will lose access to any remaining credits
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive
13.3 Survival
Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Indemnification), 14 (Dispute Resolution), and 15 (General Provisions) will survive termination.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kraków, Poland.
14.3 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at artem.rusetskyi@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.
14.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action or consolidated proceeding.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Artem Rusetskyi regarding the Service.
15.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on this page
- Updating the “Last Updated” date
- Sending an email notification (if you have an account)
Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
15.4 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
15.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
15.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet failures.
15.7 Language
These Terms are provided in English. If translated, the English version shall prevail in case of conflict.
