This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which refunds are available for purchases made on TailorMyResume (the “Service”), operated by Artem Rusetskyi.
By purchasing credits or using the Service, you agree to this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
2. Credit System
2.1 How Credits Work
- Credits are purchased through our Service and processed via Stripe
- Each resume tailoring request requires one (1) credit
- Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to other accounts
- Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated
2.2 Credit Purchase
- Credits are sold in packages as displayed on the Service
- All prices are in the currency specified and are final
- Prices may change without notice, but changes will not affect previously purchased credits
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Eligible for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- Service Failure: The Service fails to process your request due to a technical error on our end
- Duplicate Charges: You were charged multiple times for the same purchase
- Unauthorized Purchase: Your payment method was used without your authorization
- Unused Credits: You purchased credits but the Service became unavailable before you could use them (subject to Section 3.3)
3.2 Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds are NOT available for:
- Successfully Processed Requests: Once a resume tailoring request has been successfully completed, even if you are not satisfied with the result
- Used Credits: Any credits that have been used to process requests
- User Error: Requests that fail due to:
- Invalid or corrupted PDF files
- Incorrect or inaccessible job URLs
- File size exceeding 10MB limit
- Other user-provided errors
- Account Termination: Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Change of Mind: Simply changing your mind about the purchase
- Dissatisfaction with Results: Not being satisfied with the AI-generated tailored resume
- Expired Credits: Credits that have expired (if applicable)
- Promotional or Free Credits: Credits received as part of promotions or free trials
4. Refund Request Process
4.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact Us: Email artem.rusetskyi@gmail.com with:
- Subject line: “Refund Request”
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- Transaction ID or receipt number (if available)
- Reason for refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation
- Response Time: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
- Review Period: We will review your request within 5 business days
- Decision: You will be notified of our decision via email
4.2 Required Information
Your refund request must include:
- Account email address
- Purchase date and amount
- Transaction ID (from Stripe receipt)
- Detailed reason for the refund request
- Any supporting documentation
4.3 Refund Processing Time
- Approved Refunds: Processed within 14 business days
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Bank Processing: Additional time may be required by your bank or payment provider (typically 5-10 business days)
5. Refund Amounts
5.1 Full Refunds
Full refunds are available for:
- Unused credits (if Service failure prevents use)
- Duplicate charges
- Unauthorized purchases
- Service failures that prevent credit usage
5.2 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be available for:
- Packages where some credits have been used
- Pro-rated refunds based on unused credits (at our discretion)
5.3 No Refunds
No refunds will be issued for:
- Used credits
- Successfully processed requests
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
6.1 Chargeback Policy
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a payment through your bank or payment provider:
- Your account may be immediately suspended or terminated
- You may be banned from future use of the Service
- We reserve the right to pursue collection of disputed amounts
- We will provide evidence of service delivery to the payment processor
6.2 Resolution Process
We encourage you to contact us directly at artem.rusetskyi@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Service Discontinuation
If we permanently discontinue the Service:
- Unused credits will be eligible for refund
- We will provide at least 30 days’ notice
- Refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of discontinuation notice
7.2 Technical Issues
If technical issues prevent you from using purchased credits:
- Contact us immediately at artem.rusetskyi@gmail.com
- We will investigate and attempt to resolve the issue
- If the issue cannot be resolved within 7 days, unused credits may be eligible for refund
7.3 Promotional Offers
- Credits purchased as part of promotional offers are subject to the same refund policy
- Free credits or trial credits are not eligible for refund
- Promotional pricing does not affect refund eligibility
8. Currency and Exchange Rates
- Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase
- Exchange rates are determined by your payment provider
- We are not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations
9. Taxes
- Refunds will be processed for the full purchase amount (excluding taxes if applicable)
- Tax refunds are subject to your local tax laws and regulations
- You are responsible for any tax implications of refunds
